Artist Statement
I make paintings, digital artworks and textile designs which embody my passion and enthusiasm for unique color palettes and shapes. I am greatly inspired by mid-century modern design specifically within California, Brazil, and Mexico, as well as centuries-old floral and geometric patterns from around the world. My work expresses the playful, curious, yet meticulous approach I bring to the design process. In 2019 I graduated with a Masters in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art & Design. My work in grad school involved printed fabric, knitwear, and textile collage artwork collections attributed to uniquely Californian modern design.
About Bridget Thompson
Bridget is an artist and textile designer from the Bay Area, CA, currently based in Los Angeles. She specializes in digital print and pattern design and has collaborated with brands like Barbie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Clare V, and Lingua Franca. With a background in fashion and interior design, her dream projects include designing prints for trend-forward apparel and home good brands, as well as textile designs for experiential hospitality events and businesses.
